      Thanks for your comment. The Dash Diet is a great starting point to begin changing eating habits for healthier options. Yes lower carbs is important as we age. In sure does help with inflammation and lowering heart disease risk.

      I would like to suggest exercise particularly strength building exercises as we age. As you may know, we lose muscle as we age. However, this can be reversed with proper strength building exercises along with a healthy diet. The addition of extra protein will help build muscles.
