Ways to use an Ab Roller.
The best way to begin is to roll from your knees. You won’t hurt your back if your back muscles are not strong enough yet. Get in a kneeling position keeping your spine straight and your knees close together.
The Straight line Roll out move
While on your knees roll straight out to the point when your nose almost touches the floor,then roll back to starting position. Do as many as you can or feel comfortable with.
When you feel you have that down, then you can try to roll the ab roller exercise wheel standing. This move takes a lot of strength so be careful. Don’t try this until you can do the kneeling straight ab roll comfortably.
Stop if you feel any pain or pulling at all. It is super important that you keep your back straight and do not arch or let your hips dip down. Keeping your back straight keeps you safe from injury.
Keep your shoulders locked into place and keep your core tight and flexed, have a slight bend in your elbows. This primarily works your “six pack” the rectus abdominis muscle.
The “W” Ab Roll out move
Once you have mastered these two ab roller moves, move on to working your obliques by rolling diagonally on each side in the form of a W. This exercise really will draw your waist in. 2. Isometric roll out
On your knees roll until your nose is almost touching the floor, then hold that for 30 seconds.

4. Straight roll out with straight arm plank and knee touch
Here’s how you do it: start on your knees as usual and roll out straight into a straight arm plank, lift your knees off the ground. Hold the plank and bring one knee to touch your elbow then bring it back, then bring the other knee to touch your elbow. Roll back to the starting position.
8 – 15 reps
30 – 90 second break
Going through this one time either 1 – 3 or 1 – 4 equals one set
